My little boy had a lot of projectile puking since he was about 1 week old. Apart from bringing him to his regular Chinese TCM, Paediatric Massage, we had to think of many ways of trying to make him feel better whenever we put him down on the bed after his feeds.
My little boy has a weaker digestive system, as such he pukes 'toufu'-like milk. And he really has serious projectile puking. At times, his regurgitation is so vicious that milk comes out from his nose. Such moments really can make our hearts cringe.
We tried to elevate his sleeping areas with pillows, wedges, make his space comfortable by overlaying quilt comforters... but we realised that he really needs to be placed vertically. So the best way of caring for him is to keep cradle position; about 45degrees upright.
But we all know, this totally tire me and my hubby out especially with our lack of rest.
Initially we wanted to just get the normal bouncer. But as usual, after much research I found the 'mamaRoo' and obviously decided to buy it for my son.
So! The 4Moms has a series of 'Roos'. After some further research, we decided to get 'mamaRoo' because it has more advanced functions than their 'rockaRoo'.
MamaRoo is quite fun actually. The recline really helped my son by being more vertical. Of cuz, you can adjust it accordingly. Then theres the different swinging choices available and theres like 2 or 3 different swings which really swings like how I usually swing my boy.
And they have this white noise thingy, which is suppose to help the baby sleep better. They have a few choices too. My favourite actually is the 'heartbeat' And they have adjustable volume.
I can control the mamaRoo using their mobile App which is really convenient. I just adjust the swings or whatever I want off my phone without having to go near to my son whenever he is rocking on the 'Roo' because I want to avoid reminding him that he could get me to cradle him. Haha.. I sound like a bad mom.
So, I totally highly recommend this to parents whom might be experiencing the same pukey situation as us with your babies. Or anyone whom wants to transfer the rocking to the 'Roo', you definitely can do that.
Besides, the plus point about the 'mamaRoo' is their cute colored seat fabric and yes, you can just dismantle/remove it and wash it if the fabric gets stained by leaked shit or all the whatsoever from your babies; just like what happened to mine. Haha!
Anyway, here's the link for it and enjoy shopping!
